It's Christmas Day! Merry Christmas to far and near and all!! Ho Ho Ho
Dear Santa,
Ooops I think this letter arrived a tad late but hey there's gotta be Internet on your side right? Everybody's hooked up anyway. I think I have been good this year. Oh wait. Have I? Hmm.
1) There's misunderstanding issues between Wayne and I this year which mostly is my fault for having a rude attitude towards him. And he probably couldn't take it. But hey it's ALL IN THE PAST.
2) ITP. Great money bad job. I wished I was the one being retrenched early.
3) Bitched about Sandy. Oh, I bitched about Sandy all the time. But now then I haven't seen her for quite a while, things quieten(such a word?).
4) Bryan. An interesting character. I am torn.
5) 2 quarrels between Sha and I this year. Whoa. I am the one being insensitive and thought the truth won't hurt.
6) Slacking off at school has improved greatly. Sigh
7) Became closer friends with some.
8) I still haven't lose weight though the NAPFA test took great weight off me. I did so well for 5 stations but then the running was bad. I could have sprint within the last 2 mins.
9) Bought tickets to concerts but then both were last min blow offs. Bloody Hell.
10) Perfection is good sometimes.
PS: WHERE'S My GIFTS?!!!! Pardon the !!!!. Heh So am I good? Bad?
Oh well Santa, I hope 2004 will be a better year. And ooh can you send me a hot guy too? Thanks, appreciated it.

SCHOOL OF ROCK
Musical and comedy at the same time, this film brings laughter from beginning to end. Jack Black plays Dewey Finn a wanna be rock star cum musician who got kicked out of his band. At home, roommate Ned Sheebly (Mike White who is also real life friend of Jack and writer) nags at him for his rent money. Well actually it's his girlfriend played by Sarah Silverman. A call and job actually meant for his roommate, Dewey answered it and reported to the position immediately. From then on, it's just pure rock and roll time.
Amazed at his students' abilities to play music, Dewey created his own band. Young
actors nowadays are getting better and better. This class can sure bring barrels of laughter with each of the unique character in hand. My favorite is Freddy Jones played by Kevin Clark on drums. His solo act is just pure high adrendaline. I badly want to take drum lessons now. There's back up singers, security, roadie crew, stylist and even groupies. In a way, nobody is left out. Ooh and don't forget the the primp and proper Miss Mulley (Joan Cusack), the principal of Horace Green School.
Jack Black's truly versatile. He can sing, act and rock. Size doesn't matter, as long as you have talent. Onscreen, he gives off this down to earth guy feeling. Too bad I didn't catch Shallow Hal. Who cares. School of Rock is really a good and inspiring movie. Makes you wanna go learn something so we all can achieve our rock star dreams. The songs featured are also all rockin' good. Pardon the overused word Rockin.
Go watch, for this movie really rocks. Peace out.

I got the job!!!!!!
Applied for temp sales person at Robinsons last Monday with Peiwen. Got the 2nd group which is at Raffles City, 5 days work 2 weekends and 1 weekday (2 Sats, 2 Suns and 1 Friday). Weekends are paid $5.50 and weekday is paid $4.50. Yea we were told to wait a week but I didnt think she meant it literally. The HR person did call on monday, a week later. I get to work with Peiwen!! It's ok if we didnt get the same department as long as I am earning money, doesnt matter. I can also see my ex colleagues!!
I think Andy is working at Raffles City. Damn. I think he's married too. Damn.

The interview to getting into Innovex 2004 is on Thursday 18 Dec 2003. It's the mother of all interviews, even CSW's mock one can't compare. If you get into it, your project is all due for a distinction or A. Seriously, I really hope for a B. A simple B will do, I dont ask for much.
Right now, our project is so close to 80%, I can smell it but damn it's unreachable. We figured out active server pages already and now it's how to put the website's info onto it. From there, then we put it into a database and extract to VB(our application). Sounds simple huh but NO. Even people on visualbasicforum.com commented that it's a large and complex project and beginners wont be able to finish it. How encouraging. Thursday. 3 days (not counting sunday) to IT. Wish me all the luck.
Every weekend, I get to eat authetic hainanese cuisine with my family. *I sound like I am on Makansutra* Last week was chicken rice at Purvis Street where the pork chop is delicious man. I had 2 big bowls of soup also. Bring on the calories. Just, was at Golden Mile tower, steamboat where the chicken rice is hard and fragant. Fat counter up. I did not know there are porn movies at the place. Hmm. Great place.
Mum bought a 7250i with the 200 bucks Starhub voucher. I told her not to buy cuz in truth, the phone sucks. But hey aint my money. Signed up a new line. Mum and Dad also signed up a DBS cashline package consisting of a HP desktop, Nokia 6600, a IPAD and a HP All in One machine. They just have to pay $98.80 for 26 months. I also told her not to buy but then same reason. There I am, trying to ask her save money but then no, she won't listen. So she got a new phone and my brother's gonna get the 6600. Which I think it's the ugliest Nokia phone ever. Sometimes I hate my brother fucked up attitude. He thinks he's always right, trying to give some bullshit reason. When I tried to give my reason back, he would like whatever. I am comforting myself that he's not a boy he's not a man. But GROW UP. Hurry. Did I mention he hasfucking mood swings?
Met Tian Hua and Rossa later. Ex colleagues. Gave Rossa her belated birthday present and yay she's engaged!!! High time also and hahaha I personally invited myself to her wedding. Heheh. As long as it's not in Malaysia. We just talked whatever it's in our lives, catchin up. Nice. Rossa left then Tian Hua and I just walked around Far East. Head on to Taka and took photos on her hp. All wacky poses. Heh shall put one here when she email me.
For those in ex-JSS, saw Ka Leong and Lee Wei together. Eye contact with the guy first then he told the girl and shit Lee Wei turned and shouted my name. I was like Hi then bye. Shit shit shit. I don't really like to see familiar people unless necessary. Btw, they together? Hmm.

Long since I updated. Another week just whizzed by without blinking.
School all day, pouring work and heart into Fyp. Well half heart. It's like 50% done with all the loose ends tied up but then the main 50% is like hanging. Dammit. We dont even have an internet connection at our pc which today I just have to ask the technician to hook up before Monday (brand new week = brand new headache). I find that weekends are the salvation. Most of my rants are fyp related. Wanna know how are we doing?
NOT THAT GOOD. We have a rough sketch on ok now we are supposed to use HTML parser to parse the info and we can use inet. And from there we can just extract the info from SQL and put it on our VB application. Moreover, our supervisor Calvin wants the live prices from SGX and he said to make things easier, just extract the URL from the SGX.COM will do. Wow how easy. No it's not. First, how do I know where/how to use SQL to extract the data from SGX? Then from there I have to put it
onto VB. I dont think I make any sense here but the bottomline is I need help. I am already pleading everywhere signing myself up on visualbasicforum.com, desperately wanting help. Deadline's 18 dec. Great 2 weeks more. This is it I have to work my ass off for the next 2 weeks. I am not lazy just that it's not as easy as it seems. Hell nothing is easy. I dont mind not going for Innovex and to get a B is my greatest hope right now. I wouldn't like to compare. Esp with the other group who's Calvin is having better communications with. He asked us to share resources. I think he meant ask for help for time is short for us. I am not going to. In my opinion, the other group looked stuck up and I rather do by myself. JUST DON'T COMPARE.
Haven't been going out that much. Just shuttled from school and home. Went to Azlina's house for dinner last wed and it was fun, interacting with my ex sec sch juniors. Went out with Peiwen (she's finally free from her exams) to shop for Rossa's present. Thought I could spend last Sat with her but then her grandfather passed away and she's gotta head back to Sarawak. Went to Marina Square to eat with my family and then my bro went to the arcade to play his Initial D race so I got bored and I noticed Percussion Freaks (the drum machine) and also nobody around, I went to play!!! Haha I know. Drumming is so damn cool yea. Wish I've got the buckeroos to sign up for drum lessons. They make a good workout. My dad played and he can't follow the beats as he got his own rhythm and he went hitting all over. Hahahah. Funny. I am still living my single freedom life. Because of all the threats and news of my friend's friend being fined huge amounts of US dollars, I dare not download songs. Dammit. I am using winmx. I gotta lay a low profile. Damn.
By the way this week sucks. I bought the goddamn Limp Bizkit tickets!!! $61 worth but still I bought it. There I was looking forward to going with Hari then suddenly oh they are not coming. Terrorism fears? What kind of lame excuse is that? Shitheads. I am pissed at them. Last minute still. I was excited about it man. Damn them. It happened to me also when Blue was coming, then at the eleventh hour, they cancelled. Thank god I didnt buy the tickets then. Fuck man. I dont think I am ever going to concerts again. What a let down. Limpheads.
Going to Nurul's house on Sunday for Hari Raya gathering. But first morning gonna head on to Sengkang to meet Huihui. Hopefully Ian and Wayne are going. If they are, I am gonna meet them and Aisha at Compass Point. I just hope they turn up and don't give last minute excuses because Wayne's arrival depends on Ian. Sad right but then this is how guys are. Sometimes I also donno why Wayne can't just come alone or hang out with us. He's just a guy guy. Typical. There are times when I could ask for a guy best friend who is willing to share and hang out, no strings attached, purely platonic. Sure Wayne's my buddy but still wish he can bend a little.
I never knew my school's library was so much fun. I didnt know I could actually rent dvds. Sure the movies' are old but some are not really that ancient. Hell, I watched Chocolat, Bridget Jones' Diary, A walk to remember and more. They even have Maid in Manhattan!! Which of course I borrowed. I know, after 2 and half years I realized.
Singapore lost to Myanmar and Malaysia. Talk about World Cup. *scoffs* I am not that interested in SEA games anyway.
My dad got tickets to Lord of the Rings: Return of the King!!!!!! So my dad's my date for the final instalment. Wuhoo!!!! That's the probably good thing since the limp bizkit boo hoo.
